A new post? What!?

So I have attempted to post to my blog in the past and I was looking through to edit some of my posts and came across this. I never finished writing the whole post but I still think it's funny and needed to be published. Enjoy!

So I told Jason that I was going to post a blog about what we did yesterday. We both had the day off so of course we cleaned but more than anything we made each other laugh. Jason and I had a dance party to Christmas music on the music station on cable. Then we pushed Jason down the stairs in a box trying to slide down like in a sled.

I know. A year and a half later? I was writing this 2009 post 3 weeks after moving into our house. I had actually forgotten about this and when I read it, it made me smile to remember. I guess that's all I need to do. Just post what makes ME smile. I don't need to do it for anyone else (although I don't mind others reading it). I need to post so that I remember!

Happy Birthday, Brother!

I love my brother. And I think of him and his cute little family all the time. I wish I was there in AZ to give him a huge hug for his birthday (and get him a good gift as well). So, Dallin, although I live forever away, think of this post as a huge hug from me. Maybe Stacey can help me out with that in person. I love you, Dallin! I'm glad that you are my older brother. You are a great friend and a great father. I love your sense of humor and your infectious laughter. I love your passion for life and love to listen to you talk. It's great to hear the passion in your voice when you talk about something you really care about. You are a wonderful brother! I love you! Just remember I'm always a phone call away! I hope you had a wonderful birthday.

My Niece, Jersey Jean....

I love you, Dallin!

I just wanted to post a little blog and let my brother Dallin know how much I love him and am thinking about him on his birthday. I love you Dallin. I wish I was there to give you a big hug. I miss you. I wish that we talked more. I know I live far away but that doesn't mean I don't care about you and your cute family. I hope you know how much you mean to me. I feel like we have always been a bit closer even though we don't talk as much; like we think and feel the same. I know I may not have always been the best sister to you and just so you know it was all because of me. I'm sorry. I love you so much, Dallin! I know I have distanced myself from you and the family in the past and it hurts me now to think it may have hurt our relationship, but I am still your sister and you can still call and talk to me anytime for advice or a listening ear. (Sorry that my post will show up as posted on Oct. 8th and your birthday was yesterday the 7th. It took me a while to type because I had to stop crying. I guess I'm just missing all my family. ) WOW! I really know how to write a depressing blog! I love you Dallin. Don't ever forget that. You are a wonderful brother and I wouldn't trade you for anyone else. Happy Birthday

I love my mom!

I just wanted to say Happy Birthday to my mother. I'm so sad that she is only 9 hours away but it still feels like longer because I don't get to see her enough. I love you so much Mom! I'm going to miss you and Dad when you are gone to the Marshall Islands. You are such a great person and friend. I'm so happy that you are my mother. You always try to be there for me as much as you can. I know I'm not the best at letting you or anyone in but you try still and I appreciate it. I'll try to do better. Thank you for being so patient with me. I love you and I hope you had a very happy birthday!

It means it's my beautiful niece Jersey is having her birthday! Her 6th birthday today, to be precise. I am happy to have this little girl as part of my family. She is such a happy girl and good sister. I haven't seen her in a whole year and I can't wait to see her on Saturday! I love you Jersey! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
